The purpose of the B2B Direct Mail Specialist position is to support and manage the strategic goals/objectives and the day to day marketing activities associated with driving new advertising revenue and increasing renewal rates among existing advertisers. This includes the development and execution of direct mail marketing campaigns and all related print marketing. The Specialist will work closely with the B2B Marketing manager to support and deliver marketing campaigns that drive the best ROI. Duties: Manages and implements successful planning and execution of monthly direct mail campaigns Responsible for list requests, data review and clean-up, quality assurance of entire program Delivering files to vendor for printing and proofing Various marketing analytics/reporting of program Copy-writing, proof-reading Manages vendors and 3rd parties Works with graphic designer, and web and email coordinators as necessary to fulfill objectives Communicate with sales force and support departments as necessary to accomplish objectives Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Candidates will have the following skills/abilities: Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadline pressure Efficient time management and organizational skills are imperative Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated, customer focused, entrepreneurial Intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Office products; strong knowledge of computer and web/digital technologies, software, and applications Bachelor's degree in marketing and relevant work experience (internship) and/or 1-2 years experience implementing and managing direct mail programs and campaigns Desire to work hard, learn and contribute to the team and company goals
Candidates with the following skills/abilities are highly desirable: Analytical abilities and data-driven focus Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel including pivot tables Basic to intermediate html knowledge Creative direction and copy-writing background
Prior experience driving lead generation and website traffic with integrated direct marketing campaigns (specifically email and web) in a B2B or B2C environment.
