We are currently recruiting for a Record Center
Coordinator for our Warehouse division in Madison
Heights.
Job Summary
Internally services the customers by maintaining their
inventory through performing and directing record center
tasks including retrievals, incoming, destructions,
internal moves, permanent withdrawals and any special
projects requested.
Essential Functions
  • Coordination of records retrieved ensuring delivery
to the facility in a timely manner; in accordance
with approved delivery schedule and as otherwise
required by Manager.
  • Packs boxes of records; lifts boxes of records (40
lb#) to shelving or removes records from boxes to
place on shelving.
  • Coordination of record returns ensuring that they
are picked up according to schedule and staged at
the Record Center for re-file.
  • Working pull request lists for Out Patient and
Inpatient record retrieval; complete searches of
open requests
  • Sorts records and stages records for re filing,
insuring all sorting is up to date.
  • Computer entry of records into a data base both
client IT system and internal indices.
  • Bar Code scanning of records into and out of the
record center, ensuring all destruction is scanned

  • Lead and work on internal moves as assigned
including MISD or Radiology purging of records
  • Complete all required monitor logs on a daily basis:
includes APH, project progress
  • Participate in the 5S management program – providing
staff with direction on 5S maintenance
  • Maintains the highest level of customer service.
Job Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years minimum past work experience in a service
industry and/or a team focused environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to lead a work
group.
  • May travel between facilities.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to climb stairways.
Physical Requirements of the Job
Standing

entire body in erect posture with static weight bearing
on one or both legs without changing position.

Work Performed: Coordinating the work activities of
employees.
Pushing
Must tolerate __occasional_ periods of exerting force

Duration: Two hours
Work Performed: Handling boxes twice per hour.
