What will I do at UA?
• Hit key dates as outlined on the corporate calendar and communicate any exceptions to your manager
• Collaborate with POD team during selection of materials and trims and provide construction options to better engineer product to achieve cost margins
• Initialize tech pack including bill of materials, garment specifications and construction details and finalize through production
• Collaborate with Design to ensure artwork is updated and accurate
• Communicate development details to factory partners
• Monitor and track prototype progress and follow style through to production
• Facilitate and lead fit sessions with product team by providing fit direction and knowledge and communicating changes to relevant parties
• Increased style responsibility will be assigned as skill level increases
• Other assigned duties – duties may vary by department or category assignment

What does UA need from me?
• Degree in Apparel/ Textile Design, Merchandising or related field or minimum of 3-5 years apparel development experience
• Knowledge of apparel construction, material construction and properties, textile manufacturing, costing, pattern making and embellishments
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Exceptional organizational skills
• A self starter
• Passion and dedication
• A detail oriented individual
• Good computer skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with merchandising, design, sourcing, materials and outside suppliers
