Are you a subject matter expert in project management, while have the ability to roll-up your sleeves to get the work done? Assist us with strategic initiatives crossing business teams and operating groups as a Senior Project Manager to coordinate and complete projects, including active involvement in all project phases related to requirement gathering/review, solution reviews, user acceptance testing, go-live activities, and post-migration monitoring. You will be involved in multi-state migration activities at one time. You’ll investigate non-standard requests and problems, make presentations to senior leadership, ensure project documentation is accurate and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. Pertinent data and facts will be reviewed to identify and solve issues and mitigate risks, prioritize your work load and work on ad hoc projects as assigned.

Responsibilities:

End-to-end management of Pharmacy Related CSP migration activities.

Participate in all requirements gathering and solution sessions. Including reviewing and approving requirements.

Develop, review and approve all user acceptance testing.

Coordinate with PBM vendors and IT Business Analysts and Project Managers to identify migration deliverables, timelines for deliverables and tracking of progress of delivery.

Identify report and track defects through resolution. Participate in project team meetings, ensuring IT project steps move forward to ensure project implements on target

Business standardization built from the application of best practices is a key focus in support of advancing our collective quality and affordability goals.

Projects include business process/technology migrations.

Coordinates with technology delivery team to ensure technology and process changes and timing are in alignment.

Writes project charters and forms necessary teams: Is familiar with the systems scope, project objectives, and business operations.

Identifies what roles each team member must play and what skill sets are needed to form a well-rounded team.

Leads successful project management and implementation and leads others in the organization to make meaningful process improvements.

Provide project management support through defining overall business requirements as well as individual plan requirements.

Facilitates identification of project impacts across all business areas

Guides business area points of contact in building plans to support project implementation.

Supports the points of contacts with tools, such as project plans/operational assessments to manage their implementation plans.

Coaches the points of contacts on building the plan (as needed).

Aids in the development of operational processes to support clinical system migrations.

Reviews business area project plans to ensure all impacts are being addressed and implementation is on target.

Supports business areas when roadblocks are encountered and aids in successful removal of obstacles (escalating where appropriate).

Reports out on overall implementation status to project leadership.

Post-deployment monitoring for noise and coordination with points of contacts to adequately remediate any issues.

Requirements BA/BS degree required.

3+ years of experience in project management.

2+ years of healthcare experience is required.

Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Visio MS Project and SharePoint.

Ability to work collaborate in a self-directed environment.

Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to all levels of an organization.

Strong analytical skills within a matrixed environment.

Ability to be inquisitive and dig beyond the obvious to uncover additional items.

Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.

Additional qualities preferred:

PMP and/or Six Sigma Certification is preferred.

Understanding of Pharmacy Benefit Management.
