The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a Mining project or a specific area of a larger project with day to day responsibility for engineering, procurement and construction.
Under administrative direction performs all assigned general duties and may be delegated a very high level of independent authority. At this level, employee may be the senior or only project engineer on a large project with full responsibility for all general duties, or may be given responsibility for general duties on a larger or more complex segment of a very large project. May supervise the work of other project engineers on very large projects. Basic Job Requirements Requires a minimum 20 years of large scale industrial project management experience including 5+ years in mining; 10+ years construction field engineering/management desired. Possesses a Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited university; Must have project engineering experience on multiple medium or large-sized Mining projects. Other Job Requirements Excellent Communication skills, and demonstrated history of leading mining projects. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineering registration is preferred.
