We’re looking for a leader with initiative who knows how to roll up their sleeves and lead a team in a global effort to implement best practices around the world. In this role you will plan, organize and supervise all activities and aspects of the purchasing function while helping to develop a small team. Our objective is to develop and deliver “best in class” service to our internal clients located in more than 100 countries. Implementing a centralized strategy coupled with decentralized execution you will work with business line and geographic management to help to define and implement common processes and controls and standardize our procurement operations while managing your day-to-day procurement deliverables.
Manage a portfolio of projects and programs
Issue and lead the RFP process including strategy, presentations analysis and selections
Review and negotiate contracts
Drive procurement KPIs and identify and report on savings
Oversee the work of procurement staff
Manage key supplier alliances to resolve issues while quantifying and measuring successes
Participate in the implementation of automated procurement solutions
Recommend policies and procedures to govern procurement work
Advise on compliance issues
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, a Master’s degree is preferred
At least 6 years of procurement experience
Thorough working knowledge of purchasing policies, processes and procedures
Experience on a global scale is preferred
People management experience is preferred though not required
Oracle experience is helpful
