The Site Facilities Manager provides technical and business overview to the overall deployment of the Master Plan for Biosense Webster Irwindale Facility. The position will be responsible for development and implementation of the BWI Facilities Strategic Master Plan, assess space requirements and develops space plans for current and future operations from concept to completion and oversees the planning, design and construction of buildings, structures and other facilities and assures that projects are executed within targeted timelines and budget. The Site Facilities Manager collects and reviews data concerning facility's specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion dates and construction feasibility, directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications and schedules and manages project resources, including vendors and contractors.

The Site Facilities Manager coordinates and communicates with business partners to ensure alignment of plan and activities, provides project support including scoping/defining projects, developing projects metrics and reviewing project status and deliverables and Tracks and maintain performance metrics and provides data and recommendations to aid management in making decisions. The position develops funding recommendations and obtains management approval, provides coaching and supervision for facility staffs and works in both cleanroom and office environments. The position is located in Irwindale, CA and up to 20% domestic travel required.

Qualifications

It is required the Site Facilities Manager possess a minimum of a BS degree and an MBA or MS degree preferred. The qualified candidate is required to have a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience and a minimum of 5 years Project / Facilities Management experience. Strong leadership and communication skills, and the skills to interact with cross-functional teams required. It is required to possess regulated work environment and cleanroom operations experience. Medical device, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience is preferred. It is required to possess GMP, EH&S and other regulatory standards experience. The position is located in Irwindale, CA and up to 20% domestic travel required.
