The RN Specialty Coordinator for Dialysis will be responsible for the care coordination and placement of newly diagnosed ESRD patients. Provide education on access and treatment options for patients and families considering Peritoneal Dialysis or home hemodialysis. Provide assistance to the Urgent start PD initiative.

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and five years elated nursing experience. A Bachelor's degree in nursing may be substituted for two years of the required work experience. Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Some positions require certification as a generalist in a related specialty area by the American Nurses Association (ANA). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
