This position acts as the primary marketing contact for Marsh Private Client Services (PCS) field leaders. In this role, the incumbent will draw upon a solid foundation of marketing skills to plan and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives such as events, sponsorships, and direct mail. Using proactive communication skills, this individual will work with others on the marketing & sales support team to execute on approved initiatives and keep all stakeholders informed. Problem solving skills and an ability to create win/win outcomes are a must. This position reports to the Managing Director of PCS Marketing & Sales Support.
Serves as the primary marketing contact for PCS field leaders, acting as a consultant and execution resource for field marketing initiatives such as events, sponsorships, and mailings.
Plans and oversees the execution of marketing activities including events, sponsorships, mailings, and direct mail.
Partners with other members of the Marketing & Sales Support team and PCS leadership to prioritize and align on execution of marketing campaigns and activities.
Uses excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide PCS field leaders with updates and status reports regarding marketing initiatives and field requests.
Manages marketing campaign and initiative approval and prioritization process.
Supports implementation of business development initiatives.
Assists with the measurement of return on investment for marketing campaigns, then tracks & analyzes and communicates marketing performance.
Tracks, manages and assesses customer survey materials. Measures & assesses customer satisfaction.
Performs research to indentify prospects, opportunities, and competition.
Acts as a liaison with vendors to negotiate contract terms.
Bachelors’ degree preferably in business, marketing or communications but other combinations of degree program and work experience will be considered.
2+ years of work experience in marketing communications, digital marketing, sponsorships, direct mail, or events.
Candidate must possess the ability to stay organized, have great attention to detail and excellent follow through skills. Should be proactive and self-motivated.
Shows a willingness to engage in creative problem solving and uses negotiation skills to create win/win outcomes.
Ability to work in a fast paced team environment with limited supervision
