- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a major in chemical, physical or biological science, Medical Technology, or equivalent education required.
Essential Functions/Physical requirements:
- Must have a minimum of six years post-degree relevant clinical lab experience.
- MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification desired.
- Ability to understand and perform complex procedures and techniques and work with complex instrumentation; to correctly interpret test results, to include identification and resolution of discrepancies required.
- Must meet state requirements, as required, in addition to CLIA requirements.
The duties above indicate the essential functions of the job. Physical requirements are those present in a laboratory environment with high safety or health considerations. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable business needs. A minimum amount (5-10%) of business travel may be required. Must be able to provide administrative on-call coverage as required.

In this position you will be Responsible for daily supervision of operations and testing activity for automated and manual test procedures on blood samples to assure the safety, quality, identity, purity and/or potency of the blood supply. You will participate in education and training activities. Ensure compliance with all regulatory directives, policies, procedures and regulations. You will also perform automated and manual test procedures on blood samples to assure the safety, potency and purity of the blood supply as required.
Shift is Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM
