System Administrator I
The System Administrator I role is to support the stable operation of the Health System’s PC, storage and server environment. This includes supporting, maintaining, configuring and providing assistance in mid-level storage tasks, server tasks, and software. This position is responsible for diagnosing, resolving, and documenting hardware and software infrastructure problems in a timely and accurate fashion. This position is also responsible for training the end user during the project implementation phase. The System Administrator I will implement new projects with the approval of the Sr. Systems Administrator and Infrastructure Manager.
Associate degree in computer science or applicable experience in the field required
MCITP Enterprise Desktop Support Technician, MCITP Server Administrator, and Network + certifications required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire date
Previous experience installing and supporting PC hardware and software required
Previous experience with supporting Microsoft Windows, Active Directory and Exchange mailboxes
Basic experience with network equipment (i.e. hubs, routers, switches, file server, print servers) required
Previous experience with network inventory, imaging and remote control required
Previous experience with SharePoint preferred
Proven analytical and troubleshooting abilities
