The Computer Science Department at CWU is accepting applications to fill current and future full-time, part-time, quarterly and/or annual appointment lecturer positions to teach classes in the courses/subject areas listed below. This list is not all inclusive: other courses/subject areas may become available within the department.
CS 101 – Computer Basics (MS Office packages
CS 105 – The Logical Basis of Computing (Logic applied to problem solving and algorithm development, realized in VB. NET
CS 110 & 111 – Programming Fundamentals I & II (Introductory programming and problem solving in Java
CS 112 – Foundations of Computer Science
(Overview of the computer science)
CS 325 – Technical Writing for Computer Science
Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or allied field.
Preferred Qualifications
Each course has specific requirements.
CS 101 – Experience with MS Office
CS 105 – Experience with VB. NET
CS 110 and 111 – Experience with Java
CS 112 – Familiarity with CS curricula
CS 325 – Experience in the preparation of technical documents particularly related to the software engineering process
