Habitat for Humanity International is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Marketing Manager – HFHI ReStores. Reporting to the SVP US & Canada, the Marketing Manager – HFHI ReStores will strive to assist local HFH affiliates and ReStores in developing and launching comprehensive outreach and marketing strategies.
Key responsibilities:
•Manage marketing campaigns to support the programs, projects, and special events of HFHI ReStores in collaboration with HFHI Communications Department and local ReStores as appropriate
•Provide training to affiliates and ReStores on developing and launching local and regional marketing campaigns
•Manage outside marketing and consulting firms hired to develop and carry out regional marketing campaigns
•Serve as the liaison between HFHI departments, outside marketing firms, and affiliates as identified by the SVP US & Canada and/or work plan
•Other related duties as assigned
Required Skills:
•Bachelor’s Degree (degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field preferred but not required)
•Minimum of 5 years related work experience including some combination of marketing in the areas of retail, franchised networks, etc. required
•Experience managing outsourced marketing and experience managing consultants required.
•Excellent presentation, writing skills, and good verbal communication skills
•Ability to write and edit news releases and professional copy; experience with AP style communications a plus
•Strong Understanding of Social Media channels & some experience using these channels for online marketing campaigns
•Organized, strategic thinker who is attentive to detail and can collaborate effectively
•Microsoft office skills
•Ability to work independently and achieve tasks and goals in a timely manner
•Passionate about the Habitat for Humanity and HFH ReStores mission and purpose
•Any background with Habitat for Humanity a plus
