Job Duties Include: Responsible for the accurate and timely maintenance of all medical records. Search for and investigate information contained in files and supply information upon request. Set up and maintain medical records. Assures timely documentation and maintenance of accurate, current and pertinent patient care information in medical records. Coordinate timely retrieval of any required medical records information. Prepare and scan documents into the Medical Records Online system. Interface with team members to ensure competent, timely and appropriate rendering of patient clinical services and documentation. Serve as a backup to the receptionist when needed. Dismantle and archive patient charts. Maintains Confidentiality of patient and proprietary information.

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Certificate.

Self-directed individual that can function without presence of immediate supervisor.

Detail oriented and accurate.

Flexibility and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and oral) with team members.

Ability to operate a computer and use the operational software used by the office.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Healthcare Experience. 3 years clinical experience and/or working knowledge of professional nursing and documentation in medical records including medical terminology. Knowledge of state and accrediting body standards.
