Experience supporting Department of Defense (DOD) Programs and/or Projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following:
• Level 1 – Logistics Management Support experience in two (2) of the following Logistics Elements: Maintenance Planning, Supply Support, Technical Data, Training and Training Support, or Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning. One (1) year in management of substantial DOD projects, including development of or assisting in development of Acquisition Logistics Documentation. Familiarity with systems, specifically Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Maintenance Plans, User’s Logistics Support Plans, and Performance Based Logistics (PBL) Planning. Ability to understand processes and improve or refine them; ability to document and understand lessons learned; ability to use MS Office Suite; to review Prime Contractor Deliverables (CDRL's); ability to interact with databases. Ability to communicate both orally and written correspondence. Supports a senior level Logistics Management Specialist with project oriented technical and administrative tasks with direct responsibility for assuring the correctness of a product and detailed review for compliance to industry and DOD standards.
• Level 2 – Logistics Management Support experience in any of the five (5) following Logistics Elements: Maintenance Planning, Supply Support, Technical Data, Training and Training Support, Design Interface, Facilities, Safety, Computer Resources, Packaging Handling Storage & Transportation, Support Equipment, or Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning. Two (2) years in management of substantial DOD projects. One (1) year of this experience must have been in supporting Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs), including development of or assisting in development of Acquisition Logistics Documentation. Familiarity with DOD systems, specifically Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Maintenance Plans, User’s Logistics Support Plans (ULSS), Performance Based Logistics (PBL) Planning, Life Cycle Cost Estimating, and Independent Logistics Assessments. Ability to understand processes and improve or refine them; ability to document and understand lessons learned; ability to utilize MS Office Suite; ability to review Prime Contractor Deliverables (CDRL's); ability to interact with databases. Ability to communicate both orally and written correspondence. Supports a senior level Logistics Management Specialist with project oriented technical and administrative tasks with direct responsibility for assuring the correctness of a product and detailed review for compliance to industry and DOD standards.
• Level 3 – Logistics Management Support experience in all ten (10) Logistics Elements: Maintenance Planning, Supply Support, Technical Data, Training and Training Support, Design Interface, Facilities, Safety, Computer Resources, Packaging Handling Storage & Transportation, Support Equipment, or Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning. Specialized Experience: Four (4) years in management of substantial DOD projects. Two (2) years of this experience must have been in supporting Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs), including development of or assisting in development of Acquisition Logistics Documentation. Familiarity with DOD Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Maintenance Plans, User’s Logistics Support Plans, Performance Based Logistics (PBL) Planning, Life Cycle Cost Estimating, and Independent Logistics Assessments. Ability to understand processes and improve or refine them; ability to document and understand lessons learned; ability to utilize MS Office Suite; ability to review Prime Contractor Deliverables (CDRL's); ability to interact with databases. Ability to communicate both orally and written correspondence. Supports Program Office Logistics Manager or DOD Service Logistics Managers with project oriented technical and administrative tasks with direct responsibility for assuring the correctness of a product and detailed review for compliance to industry and DOD standards.
• Level 4 – Supervising / Managing Logistics Management Specialists, low and mid-levels. Support experience in all ten (10) Logistics Elements: Maintenance Planning, Supply Support, Technical Data, Training and Training Support, Design Interface, Facilities, Safety, Computer Resources, Packaging Handling Storage & Transportation, Support Equipment, or Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning. Ten (10) years in management of substantial DOD projects. Ten (10) years of managerial experience. Five (5) years of this experience must have been in supporting Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs), including development of or assisting in development of Acquisition Logistics Documentation. Familiarity with DOD systems, specifically Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Maintenance Plans, User’s Logistics Support Plans, Performance Based Logistics (PBL) Planning, Life Cycle Cost Estimating, and Independent Logistics Assessments. Ability to understand processes and improve or refine them; ability to document and understand lessons learned; ability to develop Power Point presentations; ability to review Prime Contractor Deliverables (CDRL's); ability to interact with databases. Ability to communicate both orally and written correspondence. Demonstration of compliance with Federal and State statutory regulations and laws regarding workplace safety, sexual harassment, and EEO mandates. Supports Program Office Logistics Manager and/or DOD Service Logistics Managers with project oriented technical and administrative tasks with direct responsibility for assuring the correctness of a product and detailed review for compliance to industry and DOD standards. Interacts with Human Resources Department Manager and other Corporate Management personnel.
Must be able to perform duties in accordance with the customer Statement of Work (SOW). Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
• MUST be a US Citizen
• Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret level or higher; interim may be required before starting employment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Preference for individuals with prior military instructor training / certification, experience in the design/development of multimedia training products, and/or specific knowledge of SOF Weapons and Weapons Accessories (SOPMOD/MDNS).
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Level 1 – High School diploma or GED with two years of relevant experience.
Level 2 – Associates degree from accredited two year college/university with four years of relevant experience.
Level 3 – Bachelor’s degree from accredited four year college/university with eight years of relevant experience.
Level 4 – Bachelor’s degree from accredited four year college/university with fifteen years of relevant experience.
