Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist Opportunity
Geisinger Health System (GHS) is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join Geisinger's Janet Weis Children's Hospital (JWCH) at Geisinger Medical Center (GMC), located in Danville, Pa. The position would be ideal for an early /mid career level individual. The position is clinical with clinical research opportunities . We are seeking an energetic individual committed to clinical and teaching excellence.
The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology provides comprehensive outpatient and inpatient subspecialty services, seeing a full range of benign and malignant hematology and solid tumors. Outpatient activities also include outreach clinics across northeastern Pennsylvania. The Pediatric Hematology & Oncology program is an active member of Children's Oncology Group in good standing with full research support. Facilities are also available to do translational research at Geisinger's Weis Center for Research.
About the Position:
Participate in the department's expanding activities which reflect our broad programmatic and scholarly interests
Teaching and mentorship responsibilities include medical students from several affiliated institutions and residents in our fully-accredited categorical Pediatric and Internal Medicine/Pediatric residency program
Academic teaching appointment is available through our affiliation with Temple University Medical College
Resources and opportunities to conduct robust translational and outcomes clinical research
