ABOUT THE JOB

Immediate Openings Available for hardworking, motivated sales representatives to help us grow our business. We are seeking energetic, commitment-oriented outside sales representatives with a strong sense for building relationships with potential and existing

Customers.

As a sales representative, you will become part of a well-trained, well-supported sales organization of professionals. Armed with extensive in-house and field training, you will call on dental offices and dental labs in your territory in an effort to collect their precious metal scrap for refining.

This is an outside sales opportunity with a 120-year old recognized industry leader that truly values and rewards the talent and tenacity of its sales professionals.

We are seeking new representation in the San Francisco areas. Sales Representatives for our company are independent business people with the full training and responsive support of our experienced sales and technical staffs. Fostering the ‘always prospecting’ mentality, you will focus on building strong long-term relationships with dental offices and dental labs in your territory.

THE COMPANY

Our company is over 120 years old and is one of the country's leading refiners of Precious Metal Scrap with over 500,000 customers nationwide. We buy gold, silver, platinum, and palladium, and sell gold and silver bullion.

We offer the quickest turnaround in the industry, usually sending payment within 24 hours of receiving a shipment of gold or other precious metal scrap. Unlike many gold and precious metal buyers, we maintain a state-of-the-art assay laboratory to assure that when our customers refine gold or other precious metals, they get the highest yield possible. Our customers can choose to be paid in cash or bullion, or can opt to buy gold and silver bullion outright.

In our twelve decades in business, we have maintained our independence as a family owned, private corporation and intend to keep it that way. Many of our representatives and staff have been with us for 20, 30 and more years. We have never down sized, taken accounts from our representatives or reduced our commission schedules. TRAINING

The success and careers of our sales representatives is very important to us. We provide sales education, sales management support and guidance, relationship selling and the reputation and support of an industry leader.

If you are selected, you will be brought to the refinery on the east coast where you will learn how the business functions on a daily basis. You will be taught everything you need to know in order to speak intelligently about precious metals once you go out into the field. You will also receive field training from one of our experienced sales representatives. Once your training is complete, you will be armed with the knowledge and know-how to go out on your own and interact with Dental Professionals in your territory.

COMPENSATION

Our sales representatives enjoy the highest un-capped commissions in our industry which means earnings are directly related to your own sales productivity. We believe that a straight commission structure rewards you for your work and that hard work translates into high pay. Our Sales Representatives are highly compensated both personally and financially through a generous, straight-commission based compensation plan. Commissions are paid promptly. We understand that it will take a new sales rep a month or two to get on their feet, so as a newly hired sales representative, you will be offered a monthly draw against commission for your first three months on the job. 90% of our existing full-time sales representatives enjoy a six-figure+ annual income.

APPLICANT EXPERIENCE

Candidates will preferably have outside sales experience in a B2B environment and/or prior work experience in one or more of our customer markets. However, complete training is provided and many of our existing sales people have come from un-related fields. We prefer that our applicants possess 4-year college degrees, but will not automatically eliminate applicants who do not.

We look for candidates who possess the ability to build relationships; that enjoy learning something new and can quickly convert their learning into productive sales; who can effectively explain service features and benefits; who can service existing accounts when required and prepare and submit shipments for processing; who will collaborate with colleagues to exchange market information and sales strategies.

You should be hard-working and self-motivated with the ability to manage your own time and to work independently. You must have a desire to provide superior service to each customer; to be a problem solver willing to roll up your sleeves.

You will be spending the majority of your time on the road and you will need to have your own vehicle as well as a cell phone with voicemail.

This position does not require an investment of any kind beyond your own sales effort. We pay for all marketing programs and materials as well as training and continued support throughout your affiliation with the company.
