The Java/J2EE Programmer Analyst will have 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis and application development. The Java/J2EE Programmer Analyst analyzes technical requirements, creates system designs & specifications. The candidate programs & debugs complex programs, plans/executes system tests and supports production applications. He/she will also guide lower-level technicians.
The Java/J2EE Programmer Analyst:
Must possess knowledge of the Industry Best Practices in Application Web Development.
Must be able to research and recommend technological alternatives.
Requires strong verbal and written communication, planning, organizing, controlling, decision-making, problem solving, accountability, initiative, analysis, judgment, and estimating techniques skills.
Assesses and recommends solutions to keep assignments focused on objectives
Recognizes, evaluates and pursues solutions for issues on assignments
Gives guidance and coordinates some project task work
Requires light supervision for low to high complexity project task work
Requires light supervision for support group coordination
This Programmer Analyst works with all project team members, all support groups, vendors, suppliers, and upper management.

The desired Java/J2EE Programmer Analyst will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience. Work experience= 3-5+ years.
U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
3-5 years of experience creating formal Design documents using Java/J2EE.
