Responsible for the development, enhancements, troubleshooting, fixes, and ongoing maintenance of all EDI and B2B integrations to the SAP applications which support the Network Services business areas. Position includes ongoing project-based development work, as well as day to day support of existing applications. Serve as a technical expert resource for IT Staff in all EDI and general SAP technical areas. Applications in the environment include core SAP ERP applications with modules including FI, CO, SD, MM, NetWeaver PI (XI),

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development

·

Responsible for development and ongoing maintenance/enhancements of all EDI business processes and systems.

·

Ability to analyze business requirements, review existing systems, define the solution, and translate that into detailed programming designs.

·

Take the lead in managing EDI and other B2B implementation projects with new customers and suppliers. Lead initial discussion, requirements definition, design processes, as well as actual development of the solution.

·

Ability to take detailed programming designs and perform the development required to translate them into efficient and accurate code.

·

Capable of effectively communicating with internal and external customers possessing various levels of technical knowledge. Ability to determine the underlying issue when presented with sometimes confusing and/or contradictory information; demonstrate good listening skills.

·

Ability to quickly solve/determine problems working with technical/non-technical groups in areas that may not be primary area of expertise.

Qualifications

·

Solid and extensive foundation and experience in ABAP development, with both custom development and customizations to existing processes, including use of IDOCs, ALE, RFC, BAPI, BADI, ALV, LSMW, ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, Reports (Classical and Interactive Reports), BDC (Batch-Input and Call Transaction Methods), SmartForms.

Experience designing and developing interfaces using SAP PI (formerly XI or Exchange Infrastructure) including mapping and IDOC processing is advantageous but not essential.

Development and support of the Gentran EDI mapping and translation applications i

·

Experience in full development life cycle - all areas and phases of the SDLC.

SAP Application Areas:
·

Good understanding of business process flows in SD, MM and FI areas, including master data setup, and standard SAP order to cash processes in a distribution environment.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

·

Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Individual must have proven ability to support multiple projects on an aggressive timeline.

·

Knowledge of distribution industry processes and the ability to generate functional requirements and design documents to solve business problems a strong plus.

Strong time management skills.

·

Able to work with staff at all levels of corporate management.

·

Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities for assigned tasks.
