Work together with the rest of our team to accomplish goals and actively participate in improving yourself and our team procedures. Promote quality preventive care and client education. Partner with a veterinarian in managing medical and surgical cases. Show a proficiency in low stress handling and animal restraint. Collect blood, urine and fecal samples, run idexx laboratory equipment, perform cytology/blood smears, perform radiographs, place iv catheters, calculate dosages, monitor anesthesia, perform dental prophylaxis. Additional duties include: Performing routine maintenance on equipment, clean and stock exam rooms, vacuum and mop floors, clean kennel and walk dogs. Some weekend veterinary duties as well.
