GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
The purpose of this position is to develop products and processes for LED, opto-electronic and general electronic packaging. Further design and implement design and techniques to evaluate and validate application of our products with minimal oversight.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
With minimal oversight, works to develop electronic device assemblies, power packages, Electro-optical packages such as LED etc., packaging designs and technologies in line with the Company’s marketing direction for specific customers or market segments.
Assemble and test die attach, flip chip, BGA, LED, Power IC assemblies and other packages in the laboratory.
Works with state-of-the-art electronic test equipment, handles equipment maintenance and programming, and data sorting and analysis etc.
Tests new products for function against project objectives.
Assists in equipment maintenance, periodically updating inventory stocks for boards, chip components, etc
Tests samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications.
Records test results on standardized forms and writes test reports describing procedures used.
Interact with customers, Alpha Global Marketing and Sales regarding various technical issues.
Create and independently carry out lab-scale experimentation
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in a technical discipline, two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of training and education.
In-depth familiarity and expertise with electronics manufacturing methods
