Operations Supervisor on 2nd shift
. The successful candidate will report to the production superintendent and will be responsible for the day-to-day safe and efficient operations of the production department he or she is assigned to.
Maximization of all raw materials and quality, optimize best possible return (yields) at the lowest possible costs (labor)
Consistent enforcement of all company policies and procedures
Retention/Training/Safety of hourly employees
Interaction with Maintenance/Tech Services/USDA Grading Service, USDA, FSIS, Sales, Shipping, and Scheduling Departments
Other management duties as assigned
Must be bilingual in spanish
Grinding process knowledge and experience
Experience in meat processing applications
Strong Communication Skills
Problem Solving / Decision Making skills and abilities
Safety and loss control management experience
Computer literate with working knowledge of software programs
Able to make decisions
Ability to lead, instruct, teach and provide coaching to employees
Time management skills
Must be able to work weekends as needed
