The Admissions Coordinator is a customer service professional responsible for the coordination of the initial referral process by providing customized communication and follow-up to case management customers through effective phone and customer service skills.
- Ability to demonstrate the principles of effective communication develop and apply effective customer service skills and build customer relationships; develop VITAS clinical knowledge base; develop and apply productive negotiation skills; and have a general understanding of the patient accounting impact on the admission process.
- At least 2 years experience in customer service, excellent computer skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Associate’s degree preferred.
