This position is NOT rotational; the position requires that the employee live in Valdez, Alaska or the immediate area to accommodate a 5-day work week.
J OB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the employee is responsible for the day to day functions and quality of work performed by the DUS janitorial crew.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Five years of experience as a janitorial supervisor
- Supervisory experience to include training (both task related and safety), work scheduling, coordination, and performance evaluations
- Manage personnel, equipment, chemical and supply items
- Conduct inspections/audits of janitorial work areas to ensure standards are being met
- Prepare and maintain appropriate records
- Willingness to perform others duties as required
- Willingness to work at various locations as required
