Job Title: GEOSPATIAL INTELLIGENCE ANALYST - CONTINGENT BASED UPON CONTRACT AWARD
Location: 1st INFORMATION OPERATIONS COMMAND (LAND) AT FORT BELVOIR, VA
Applicants must be a US citizen and possess a US DOD TS/SCI level security clearance.
Perform duties as 1st Information Operations Command (Land) geographic information systems analyst. Support creation of sensitive and special information operations planning products.
Create custom overlays and map products.
Load and customize various formats and scales of vector and raster data for specific geographic areas.
Create sensitive and special Information Operations planning products.
Load and customize various formats and scales of digital maps for areas of operation.
Solid geoanalytical, organizational and communicative skills.
Knowledge of ESRI platform, primarily ArcGIS and related components: ArcMap, ArcCatalog and ArcToolbox.
Proficiency with ESRI software and familiarity with enterprise database applications.
Additionally, ArcGIS Server and ArcSDE would be desirable.
Experience and ability to create specialized imagery/mapping overlays to support information operations planning and products.
Conduct sound vector and raster analysis of open source, intelligence, and technical analysis information.
Ability to analyze imagery data from various sources and integrate geospatial information into ongoing/future IO/EW operations.
Strong report writing and presentation preparation skills.
ADDITIONAL BUT NOT REQUIRED:
BS or BA in Geography, Urban Planning, Earth Sciences, or Computer Science.
Minimum 5 years professional experience working with all aspects of GIS.
