Responsible for systems development and coding, documentation, implementation and support of data entry, data mining, and content management web applications; supports, maintains and enhances existing in-house developed systems.

The ideal candidate also possesses the following skills and abilities: development frameworks, such as FW/1; familiarity with Mura CMS; development of Mura CMS plugins/theming; Web design skills;
knowledge of Web Services; experience with Windows 2003/2008 Server, IIS 7.0/7.5 and basic network skills; experience with web application security best practices; designing, modifying and debugging SSRS reports; experience using Business Intelligence Development Studio to build SSIS packages; Java, C#/.NET for auxiliary application support, knowledge of DB2.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires B.A. in Computer Science or related field or an A.A. in Computer Science or related field supplemented with appropriate work experience. Requires at least 4 years of professional experience in the development of web-based systems; 2-4 years of professional experience building ColdFusion Web Applications (ACF 9.0.1/10, Railo 3/4) using security best practices; 1-2 years of professional experience writing MS SQL Server Stored Procedures; AJAX, JavaScript/JQuery, XML, HTML5, CSS; strong knowledge of end to end Systems Development Life Cycle; basic understanding of SSRS deployments over the web (ColdFusion/HTML); basic understanding of SSIS for ETL.

Other desired traits: commitment to public sector involvement and to public policy issues; understanding of or willingness to learn the policy-making process; ability to work in a high-paced, fluid environment, providing accurate information frequently on very short timelines; ability to handle multiple tasks and projects; pro-active approach to work, to develop appropriate areas for analysis, to identify problems before they form or to offer solutions.
