Frazier Rehab Institute (FRI) is a comprehensive rehabilitation system with more than 20 locations throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana, providing therapy in acute care settings for inpatient and outpatient rehab needs. Comprehensive rehab programs, highly skilled therapists, state-of-the-art-facilities and innovative therapeutic techniques have earned Frazier Rehab Institute national recognition. Patients span the age range from infancy to geriatrics with a wide variety of diagnoses which include neurologic (spinal cord injury, brain injury and stroke), amputations, multiple trauma, orthopaedic, arthritis, cardiopulmonary, congenital, developmental, degenerative, and general medical cases.
Responsible for providing speech therapy services, under the direction of a physician, in order to maximize patient's functional independence. This role includes evaluations, counseling and providing rehabilitation for persons with speech, language, hearing or swallowing disorders. This position may provide direct patient care to various patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
Masters degree in Speech Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP for ASHA. License in the state of KY to practice Speech-Language Pathology. CPR certification and be able to perform CPR techniques. 6 months experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an acute/rehab setting. Rehab experience preferred.
