Overview

Manage the maintenance activities in the plant, and support plant and departmental mission and vision statements.

  • Manage all maintenance activities within the plant, physical plant utility systems, and stock room operations.
  • Monitor and control stock room, bottling, and facility repair and capital budgets.
  • Manage preventive, predictive, and periodic maintenance programs with emphasis on reliability and improvement.
  • Support and develop salaried and hourly members of the maintenance depar Manage the maintenance activities in the plant, and support plant and departmental mission and vision statements.

  • Support and develop salaried and hourly members of the maintenance department.
  • Adhere to and promote environmental health and safety as one of the organization’s business priorities.
  • Insure compliance with Food Safety, ISO, OSHA, TTB, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Be knowledgeable of the labor agreements and manage employees according to the agreement.
  • Keep abreast of developments that could be used in the facility to increase company position in the market place.
  • Support KPI’s of balanced business scorecard for plant and operations.
  • Accept other duties as assigned.
Job Skills/Requirements

Minimum five years experience in industrial maintenance supervision within a union environment.
Must have maintenance management experience.
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
Working knowledge of computer systems, to include the Microsoft Office suite of applications and CMMS program.
Strong technical knowledge in maintenance crafts, equipment design and function, and project management.

Excellent written and oral communication skills with emphasis on technical writing.

Strong problem solving ability.
Competent and safety conscious able to work in dynamic industrial environment where likely to encounter temperature extremes, chemical exposures, dirty and wet, noisy, confined spaces, climbing and uncomfortable conditions.
SAP, HACCP, and ISO Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
Must have mobility to access all areas of the Plant, climb ladders and walk up and down stairs, stoop and bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
Must have good visual acuity (correctable), good sense of hearing (correctable).
Must have a valid drivers license.
Must be able to travel when required.
