Internal Medicine Residency

OCHSNER HEALTH SYSTEM in New Orleans is searching for an experienced physician leader for its Internal Medicine Residency Program. The successful candidate will help lead the Ochsner Internal Medicine Residency Program of 45 residents interns and 10 preliminary interns. Applicants must be board-certified in Internal Medicine and have experience in medical education. This position will include approximately 50 administrative responsibility and 50 time spent in clinical practice in an outpatient only setting. Areas of administrative responsibility will include oversight of curriculum, outpatient resident clinic directorship, recruitment, resident performance and evaluation, and other duties which may be assigned by the program director. Significant leadership growth potential exists in this position. Salary offered will be competitive and commensurate with experience and training.
