s Retail, Inc. is seeking an exceptionally talented Retail Management Professional for the Outpost Store Manager position at our Retail Showroom in Kalispell, Montana.
Noteworthy candidates will have vast knowledge and experience in a high volume Retail environment, and will have a passion for outdoor sports.

To guide the store and the team as a whole to give legendary customer service thereby increasing the sales and profitability of the store for the benefit of the company and the shareholders. To implement strategies and policies and procedures to maximize the efficiency of the operations of the store.
Assure the store meets sales goal by overseeing sales floor activities, executing marketing events and merchandising standards throughout the store. Assure every customer receives legendary customer service by coaching, training, motivating and inspiring the team to take care of the customer through morning meetings, monthly all-store meetings, and weekly management meetings and leveraging VOC and staffing metrics. Assure the store achieves profitability goals by managing controllable expense and leveraging payroll using SPLH tools, donations, small advertising expenditures, markdowns and inventory levels. Meet all compliance metrics to include firearms, instant issuance, safety and store operations (SOP) by establishing a culture of compliance and setting clear expectations for the management team, review exceptions reports, follow all government regulations and support all training initiatives. Contribute to overall employee conduct and morale by responding to human resources and asset protection issues that arise and respond to issues timely. Create a positive employee relations environment. Partner with key stakeholders on complex issues and follow all regulatory laws. Assure store is operating efficiently and that the internal functions of the store are productive in supporting the sales floor. Over all responsibility includes the receiving warehouse, overnight stocking, cashiers, and customer service and club card booth teams.
This position requires Bachelors degree or equivalent plus four to six years retail experience or combination of education and experience equal to the above. Position also requires at least 3 years of advanced management experience. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees, customers and other business contacts, as well as the outside community, in a courteous and professional manner. Must be a customer service oriented team player and have the ability to pay close attention to detail. Ability to build a cohesive team by utilizing proven motivational, coaching and mentoring techniques. Ability to prioritize, delegate and accomplish multiple projects. Knowledge of company products both technically and as it applies to customers specific needs. Skill in operating personal computer and various software packages. Passion for hunting, fishing, camping and outdoor sports. Must be able to work the following: at least 3 out of 4 weekends a month; any day, including holidays; opening and closing shifts.
