Sales Training Lead
Twitter is looking for a seasoned Ad Sales training executive to develop training capabilities and programs that unlock the full potential of our global sales organization. The Sales Training Leadr will be responsible for developing innovative training strategies and initiatives that inspire sellers and improve sales productivity across all aspects of the sales process. To do so you’ll work collaboratively with Sales, Product, Ad Ops, and Sales Marketing teams to develop high-impact Sales new hire onboarding and ongoing training programs.
Assess organizational needs and develop Twitter training strategy and approach to support Twitter’s aggressive revenue goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Sales, Product, Ad Ops, and Sales Marketing, etc. to develop curriculum, deliver, and reinforce training.
Deliver innovative training programs that maximize core competencies, product knowledge, and solution selling skills for Account Executives and Sales Leadership team.
Measure learning outcomes, and ensure alignment of company, sales and training objectives.
Organize, plan and juggle multiple priorities in developing and delivering training.
Reassess training needs on a regular basis and shift approach as needed to address top priority needs and opportunities.
Apply adult learning principles and training best practices to deliver high-impact, inspiring programs that increase seller productivity.
Listen, coach, and mentor to help sellers reach their full potential. Debrief sellers by asking questions that lead to self-discovery of new skills.
Promote resources available to sellers for ongoing learning and development, and teach sellers how to use resources for forecasting, planning, identifying trends, recognizing opportunities, and increasing sales.
Hire and manage trainers in international markets.
BA/BS degree preferred: Masters degree or equivalent experience a plus
10+ years in a marketing or sales training related role with ad-sales specific experience.
Candidate must leverage training and learning principles and best practices while delivering ideas and approaches that fresh and innovative.
Knowledge of social media, emerging platforms, and Twitter a must. Candidates must be able to articulate the value proposition of Twitter for marketers and our ad product offerings.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about a particular industry and/or product set, market dynamics, and opportunities.
Creative flair to bring fresh ideas and an artful approach to training.
Outstanding communication skills; ability to translate complex ideas into simple and intuitive messages that make an impact.
Commitment to quality, accuracy, and consistency including adherence to brand standards.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Ability to build internal networks to accomplish goals through collaboration with resources across teams.
A self-starter who takes initiative and is action oriented.
Can balance the need for quick turnaround with longer-term strategic efforts.

Comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment.
Comfortable with presenting to clients and agencies—in both small or large groups.
Strong PowerPoint skills.
