Enterprise Integration Services (EIS) is the global enterprise integration organization at Staples and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) is a team within this organization. ESB provides the overall integration capabilities between all internal systems/applications in addition to working with the Enterprise Gateway infrastructure for integrating external applications.
As an Integration lead, you will be part of the Enterprise Integration Services(EIS) that will architect and integrate applications in compliance with both Enterprise Integration and Staples SOA architecture standards. You will lead, design, implement security and service governance gateway across all integrations the enterprise. You will also impact many parts of Staples’ business and its applications by partnering with different application teams to deliver mission critical development initiatives.
Leads the integration effort on multiple application projects.
Responsible for decisions, designs, architecture and implementation of security and service governance across all integrations within the organization
Coordinates and oversees the activities of the offshore team assigned to the project.
Ensures that standard development processes and best practices are followed during the entire SDLC.
Conducts design and code reviews and provides technical direction to all levels of designers, developers and implementers.
Oversees issue resolution, bug fixes and enhancements during the QA cycle.
Follows standard processes and creates standard documents to ensure that the code is deployed into production
Provides support for the application once in production.
Maintains an understanding of Staples’ strategies, business models, standards, guidelines and policies and applies this understanding in designing reusable and extensible integration components
Works with the Information Architect to design and socialize canonical domain models and processes that are tailored to the Staples enterprise.
Advises and assists domain/application subject matter experts on mapping between applications spanning multiple domains.
Be an evangelist for the Staples SOA architecture and guiding principles.
Acts as a technical consultant to enterprise strategic initiatives.
Communicates to all levels of IS management.
Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline
8+ years overall technical experience.
4+ years experience working in and leading large SOA and ESB implementations. Full project lifecycle experience on several large application development projects
3+ years experience with design, architecture and implementation of systems using IBM Datapower
3+ years hand-on and lead experience using Security and Governance products, Registry Repository technologies such as WSRR, Software AG CentraSite)
3+ years experience with Identify and Access Management technologies: LDAP, SAML, Secure Token, Web Services and REST security and policy standards
2+ years’ experience working with XML, XSD and other related technologies
Proficient in XML/XSLT, web services, MQ/JMS, Tivoli tools, Registry Repository , Proxy, Firewall and TCP/IP knowledge
Knowledge of Software AG WebMethods and its product suite
Retail experience a plus
Strong leadership skills
Experience in Java/J2EE and Web services experience a plus
Knowledge of open standards such as OAGIS, ARTS, W3C a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to influence multiple stakeholders
