Job Summary :
The ideal candidate will have strong work ethics and demonstrated ability to perform inventory audits within designated Retail C-Stores in and around Farmington NM.

Have strong analytical skills, have the ability to stay driven to results completing c-store inventory audits timely.

Like to travel and work individually or on a team as needed.

Pay attention to detail during c-store inventory count plus be proficient and accurate documenting inventory count results.

Demonstrate effective communications when communicating audit results with c-store manager, direct supervisor, district managers, and/or operations management as required.

Be result oriented researching and resolving discrepancies.

Be professional at all times and have proven ability building and maintaining successful business relationships supporting cooperation and cohesiveness as a team member and representative of the company’s retail division providing unmatched excellence in customer service to both internal and external customers.

Experienced using mobile handheld inventory devices preferred.

Skills / Requirements:
Vocational or specialized training in a related field and 3-12 months experience or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Must have knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.

Proven ability to make sound decisions with solid time management skills to effectively meet deadlines and manage complexity within the work day.

Mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply, or divide numbers for balancing or compiling figures and percentages, ratios, averages and medians, to calculate and interpret data.

Must have the ability to maintain mobility, must be able to bend, reach or stoop to count merchandise and operate inventory audit equipment, must be able to perform moderate physical effort under 25 pounds.

Must proactively take ownership of assigned task to include counting all merchandise by retail price, multiplied by quantity, to determine retail value for each category in each section within assigned stores. Reconcile total value of merchandise versus store level to determine audit variances. Reconcile store change funds and cash with store sales reports to determine cash variances. Practice preventive safety procedures to maintain an accident free workplace and to protect equipment assigned by the company for this position.

Must have strong inter-personal, written and oral communication skills to successfully communicate with clarity and conciseness supporting cooperation as an independent inventory auditor, team member and representative of the company’s Retail division. Must have the ability to provide a high level of customer service by answering questions, providing accurate information, and responding to requests on a timely basis.

Must have reliable transporatition to perform the required tasks of the position.

Must have a valid drivers license, clean driving record and meet the company insurance requirements.

Must pass company pre-employment background screening and required drug and alcohol tests.
