A member of the Middleware Web Services team whose primary role would be in J2EE Support
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in design and architecture of J2EE environments
Primary support for WebLogic (Linux and Windows)
Lead WebLogic related projects
Troubleshooting and tuning of J2EE applications
Managing and working with Virtual IP Addresses
Qualifications
:
Basic Qualifications
Knowledge, understanding, and experience working with WebLogic Application Server (to include version 10.3.5)
Exposure to Xebia DeployIT software deployment tool
Experience troubleshooting and tuning J2EE applications – particularly in WebLogic
Experience load balancing J2EE environments
Knowledge of Fusion Middleware, Service Oriented Architecture, Business Process Extension Language
Certified Oracle WebLogic Administrator (recent versions)
Experience installing and configuring WebLogic in Linux and Windows
Experience with virtual server technologies (VMWare)
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge and experience with Duke’s J2EE/WebSphere customers and environment
Exposure to IBM Workload Deployer
Exposure to IBM WebSphere
Experience working on the command line in Linux
Experience working with BlueCoat Reverse Proxy technologies
