Position Title: Data Scientist
Minimum Requirements in Years: Can either be Sr, or Jr out of school
1. Machine learning algorithms experience: areas of classification, clustering, data reduction, evaluation and sampling
2. Classic applied statistics experience: linear models, logistic regression, sampling, hypothesis testing
3. Experience with the machine learning and statistical packages: SAS/SPSS, R
4. Relational database experience, SQL scripting, and one other scripting language
5. Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Mathematics or similar
Desired Proficiencies in Years:
1. Experience with user generated content sites and social networking experience, experience in mining social network data.
2. Hadoop- not required but a huge plus
3. From a big Ad Network company.
