Work within a team environment to perform Oracle Applications and Database administration for business services provided by the Information Technology Service Department (ITSD). Duties (Listed in order of importance with the estimated amount of time spent
      at each task):
    • Manage the Oracle E-Business Suite infrastructure, in support of the software development organization and business requirements. This involves installation, maintenance, and administration of Oracle applications, middleware and databases and includes operational support, troubleshooting and problem solving, application and database patching/upgrading, environment cloning, execution of backup/recovery activities, security analysis, proactive monitoring, performance assessment, tuning and optimization. (70%)
    • Collaborate with software developers, analysts, and managers to understand infrastructure requirements for projects and operations, and make cogent recommendations. Identify resource needs and dependencies related to E-Business Suite and interfacing systems. Contribute to planning activities in partnership with project and service managers. Evaluate and propose technologies and solutions related to Oracle applications in support of projects or to improve the future state. Define, manage and pursue technology and environment road maps in coordination with various teams. Ensure all tiers of the application follow optimal configurations. Provide regular status updates and communications to teams and line management. (25%)
    • Develop and maintain documentation of installations, configurations, technical solutions and procedures related to the administration and maintenance of services. Initiate formal and informal knowledge sharing sessions with teams. (5%)

Qualifications : Required Qualifications: B.S. in information technology related field or equivalent years of professional IT work experience.
      · 7 + years’ experience with installation, maintenance and administration of each of the following: o Oracle E-Business Suite Applications, with recent experience in version 11.5.x or higher o Oracle Databases, with recent experience in version 11g o Oracle Application Server version 10g or higher or Oracle Fusion Middleware, in support of Oracle E-Business Suite
      · Experience upgrading E-Business Suite and Oracle databases
      · Experience with: o RMAN o Oracle Enterprise Manager o Linux/UNIX Operating Systems
      · Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex problems using current job knowledge, research data, and external resources
      · Strong written and oral communication skills, which will be used to document analysis, transfer knowledge and give technical presentations
      · Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment with the ability to interface with all levels of staff Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines Desired Qualifications: Experience with:
      • E-Business Suite Release 12.x
      • Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
      • Solaris or Red Hat Linux Operating Systems and Shell scripting
      • Oracle Grid Control or Cloud Control and the Application Management Pack
      • Installation, maintenance, and administration of Oracle Middleware components including Portal, Discoverer, Oracle Internet Directory (OID), J2EE Application Deployment, Forms Server, Reports Server, and HTTP advanced configuration Special Working Conditions [Travel, working in closed areas, extended hours] : Occasional Saturday morning hours required to work onsite at least quarterly. Participate in bi-weekly after hours on-call rotation every six weeks. Security: Applicant selected will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information.
