The Accountant will help the Accounting Manager in a variety of areas such as accounting, commission calculation, fixed assets, and reports. Initially, several independent projects
will be assigned to the Accountant. The Accountant needs to be proficient in GAP Accounting principles, NetSuite accounting system, and creation and use of Excel spreadsheets. The ideal candidate can work independently on new projects while solving challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Creating customer invoices working closely with both the Marketplace and Platform business unit personnel to ensure accuracy and timely information.
Managing company’s fixed assets records, procurement, and implementing the fixed assets module in NetSuite.
Supporting the entire sales process from order placement to revenue recognition for one business unit. Including agreement management, pricing terms, billing calculation and invoicing. International accounting including elimination entries and consolidation of foreign subsidiaries.
Manage the implementation process of new models in NetSuite system as required.
EXPERIENCE
4-year degree in accounting or similar experience
4-7 years of experience in similar positions
2-3 years of experience using multiple modules in NetSuite
IDEAL SKILLS
Detailed oriented and the ability to organize and maintain data and/or corporate files so they are readily available for those requiring the information. This includes compliance with agreements and reminders for renewals/cancellation of services.
Work independently, can take a project from beginning to end
