Position Scope: The Project Coordinator position works with our service and sales teams to manage and grow our existing subcontractor database.

Responsibilities: Functional
Coordinate email and direct mail campaigns to recruit, qualify, and add subcontractors Manage the subcontractor agreement process which includes negotiation of pricing, confirmation of technical skill sets, insurance verification, and agreement to defined Optus response times Pro-actively analyze current vendor database by geography and identify coverage weaknesses Responsible for loading and updating vendor information into internal systems Participate in the measurement and ranking of subcontractors Identify improvement opportunities and recommend changes to management Work with the service/sales teams to assist with identifying customer requirements, developing specific subcontractor qualification documents, and managing project deliverables and timelines General project management Models appropriate behavior in regards to Optus’ Core Values and Code of Ethics policies and supports Optus’ team approach to quality to drive Optus forward Other duties or tasks as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience 3-5 years of project management experience. Prefer experience in a customer service and/or technical environments Excellent negotiation skills Experience in utilizing Microsoft Office products to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project and Outlook Must be a team player with a positive attitude and able to demonstrate excellent customer service, a keen attention to detail and great organizational habit This position requires the successful candidate to be able to multi-task, work within externally developed deadlines, and respond promptly and efficiently to change

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Limited travel to off-site customer locations. Ability to read, write, and communicate both orally and written to external and internal customers and employees. Normal vision and normal hearing with or without correction. Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs., periodically, throughout workday. Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, sit in one place, squat and kneel continuously throughout day. Ability to reach, bend, and twist continuously throughout day. Ability to use hands and feet together for repetitive, coordinated motions. Ability to use hands for gripping and squeezing, as well as repetitive hand and wrist motions. Ability to work together effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
