Job Description
The Manager, Succession Management & Strategic Talent Development will report to the Director, Global Talent Development and will develop and implement a Leadership and Key Talent Development strategy to drive and ensure that our company has a rich pipeline of leaders and key talent able to lead the organization in the delivery of our Strategic Agenda. This will include providing active leadership for the Global Top Talent Process as well as ensuring that Global Mobility serves as a key enabler for the development of key leadership across the enterprise. Our company is rapidly expanding globally; you will be poised to play a key role in our company's growth!
Primary Accountabilities:
Establish a strategy and implement a regular cadence around our companies global Executive Succession Management Process in synchronization with the global strategic planning process.
Partner with senior leadership to track, analyze and establishing processes to ensure the implementation of Executive Development Plans within the Executive Succession framework
Provide leadership and guidance for the development of a strategy to implement and maintain a best in class global approach for managing effectively and efficiently within the context of our company's Global Mobility Framework.
Develop the strategy for and provide the leadership for the implementation of a global Top Talent Process to identify and intentionally develop High Potentials and High Performers, to enable a rich talent pipeline to meet the organizational commitment of having 70% - 85% leadership positions across the enterprise filled through internally developed talent.
Mandatory Requirements:
MBA or Post graduate degree in HRM or Organizational psychology required
Minimum 10 years in multi-national/global corporation within a range of HR areas
Experience with managing Global Mobility or Global Cross-Cultural areas
Strong communication and organizational awareness skills to effectively counsel and work with senior leaders.
Demonstrated ability to take a broad developmental perspective beyond just training and development programs
Robust analytical skills, including the ability to collect/compile, analyze and interpret data against standards and communicate to tell a compelling story
Willingness to challenge the status quo
