Primary duties will include operation of forklift equipment which can include, but not limited to, sit-down (fork, clamp, slip sheet), stand up (high reach, extended fork), electric pallet jack. 6 months previous lift experience is required.Operation of equipment is required in racking which is double deep.Responsibilities may also include: Use of (Labor Management System, RF scanner, Use of lift to pull orders, Load and unload inbound trailers put-away product, staging products, etc. Other duties may include Hand wrapping pallets, inventory management and cycle count functions. Duties, responsibilities and work schedules are subject to change, based on business needs. Each employee must be able to Work independently. Be reliable. Be quality and safety conscious. Pay closeAttention to detail and have the ability to correctly inventory and place product throughout warehouse. Be motivated, willing to ask questions and posess good communication skills. Be accountable for accuracy of product movement and shipment requests. Be accountable to meet daily production standards as measured by LMS system. Be accountable for meeting required output standards. Be accountable for performing work to specifications as trained. Perform basic math functions. Operate RF Scanners. Be willing to cross train. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for 8 -10 hours. Ability to work in cold or hot temperatures. Ability to perform repetitive movements for extended periods of time. Ability to walk long distances (up to 1 mile) Ability to wear proper safety equipment, including gloves, safety glasses, goggles, etc. Ability to hear soft and loud noises, such as honking, and respond accordingly. Ability to use upper body strength in order to push or pull objects. Communicate by speaking accurately, loudly or quickly to others. Ability to bend, twist, turn and reach. Ability to see objects closely and from a distance. Ability to be aware of changing work environment and operate equipment in a safe manner. Ability to work in a non-temperature controlled environment. Each Applicant nust be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check. Potential candidates will also be required to complete all pre-employment skills evaluations required by the company.
