Associate Vice President for Human Resources Seminole State College
of Florida, one of Florida's fastest-growing colleges serving more
than 32,000 students, is seeking an Associate Vice President for
Human Resources to provide strategic leadership for all human
resources services for 1,600 College employees.

This new position, a result of the College's recent expansion to 6
locations, is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual to
strategically evolve Seminole State College's entire human
resources capacities and capabilities. Serving the Orlando area
since 1965, Seminole State College is committed to leading the
Central Florida region in higher education, community enhancement,

The Associate VP for Human Resources will: shape and direct all
human resource functions for approximately 800 full-time and 800
part-time employees; lead all efforts pertaining to employee
recruitment, training and professional development, employee
relations, compensation programs, and benefit programs; provide
guidance to the President and Vice Presidents on strategic and
operational personnel matters; implement federal and state
regulations, Florida statutes, and College policies and procedures;
oversee college-wide equity functions; fully support the College's
mission, vision, and values.

The closing date is February 28, 2010, and the salary range is
