About the Job
The Site Superintendent will provide on-site coordination and leadership of individual subcontractors and vendors
necessary to implement a construction project. The Site Superintendent will also review projects with the Project
Manager prior to project initiation. Position Description:
Experience
Preference would be to hire an experienced SS with 10 to 15 years of experience on various local, city, State and Federal construction projects, preferably on contracts with the Department of Defense agencies; e.g. US Army Corps of Engineers, US Navy or US Air Force. Requirement
High school at a minimum (with diploma) but preferably a college degree in either/or construction management, architecture, or civil engineering from a 4-year university. Special Notes
Successful candidates must have a clean record with no prior arrests or convictions as this will hinder the successful candidate from gaining access for security reasons to certain military installations, such as the Whteman AFB, MO site which has a nuclear mission.
Education / Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in a construction related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of direct supervision of construction projects.
Applicable OSHA training courses and annual certifications as required.
