High School or Equivalent
DUTIES: The primary function of this position is to perform all activities necessary to successfully resolve technical denials. This position is to research, analyze, document, appeal, reconcile and bring to closure all assigned third party payer accounts underpaid or unpaid through appeal procedures relative to denials.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED equivalent. College preferred
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) or more years of experience as part of a medium to large health care system revenue cycle team with a minimum of two years experience directly related to complex account resolution, filing appeals or participating in Denial Management. Alternate or supplemental experience of three or more years reviewing appeals for a Government or Third-party Review Organization may be considered. Consideration may also be made for a supporting combination of relevant education and applicable experience.
LOCATION: This position will be located within the Surgery Central Billing Office at 7240 Shadeland Station, Indianapolis, IN 46256
