Position Summary :

Our Scrum Master works with the enterprise architecture team to drive projects from conception, creation and implementation through to completion. It is the Scrum Master who ensures that projects are successfully completed within each sprint, according to client or internal specification and aligning within the proposed budget. Our Scrum Master will guide and mentor team members and meet with global clients to discern business process requirement and then translate them into technical software requirements for implementation. This position reports to the Executive Director of Software Products.

Our SCRUM Master/Principal Technical Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities will include :
  • Certified SCRUM Master

  • Manage a software engineering product team to reach market objectives on time and budget in a startup environment.

  • Sufficient technical acumen in software to work closely with engineering, quality and delivery organizations.

  • Focus on quality deliverables, utilizing strong project management skills. Responsible for ensuring that project management wo rk follows established standards, processes, and guidelines.

  • Be a leader, detail oriented, quick study, and self-motivated and professional.

  • Display clear and effective verbal and written communications skills during interactions with business, project management, team members, and executive management.

  • Ensure that issues and risks are identified, understood and dealt with in a manner that mitigates risk to scope, cost, and schedule.

  • Have ability to multitask on many simultaneous activities within an environment of rapidly changing priorities.

  • Excellent verbal/interpersonal, written, presentation and customer relationship communication skills

  • Be willing to work occasional extended hours.

Basic Qualifications :
  • 7-9 years of experience in software development

  • Experience working with new product development for external customers

  • Experience in Microsoft Project and Excel

  • Experience with an Agile Management Tool such as Rally Software.

  • Undergraduate degree either BS or BA or equivalent work experience, PMP preferred
