Database Administrator / DB2 DBA (AIX)
Provide 24x7 on-call database system support forthe largest private, not-for-profit academic medical center in the nation. Proactively monitor and upgrade databasesystems, working as part of a skilled team to ensure minimum downtime.

In this dynamic setting, you’ll perform tuning, backups, recovery, and replication from DB2 to DB2 using IBM DataPropagator. Maintain system documentation, escalate troubleshooting issues, and make smart recommendations for physical database design.

Key Criteria
To qualify, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience, supported by a minimum three years’ experience managing comprehensive DB2/UDB databases on AIX (UNIX platform).

Ideal candidates have proven experience with Oracle, SQL Server, MYSQL, and JDBC. Bring your multitasking skill – your ability to diagnose and prioritize requests while working effectively with various leadership levels on multiple project teams.
