Position Description

Under the administrative direction of the Regional Director of Corporate Relations, provide direction, management, and support of targeted activities within the corporate community to insure maximum return on investment, access to workplace giving and sponsorships. Sell, manage and coordinate seamless delivery of ACS involvement opportunities to priority corporate relationships.

Lead sales for a portfolio of corporate accounts to support major income events in the Southeast Region at the $5,000, $10,000 and higher sponsorship levels. Events include, but may not be limited to, Bike-a-Thon, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, DetermiNation, Coaches vs. Cancer and Relay For Life.

Maintain existing and establish new relationships in conjunction with the Regional Director of Corporate Relations for specific priority accounts and provide stewardship and cultivation for next level of requests.

Seek out and establish new contacts with corporations for short and long-term proposals to be submitted for support of ACS initiatives.

Research, develop and submit corporate grants. Coordinate and execute the preparation of corporate proposals.

Develop familiarity with Workplace Solutions product line and work collaboratively with Corporate Wellness Specialist to present these programs to targeted accounts.

Raise funds to support ACS CAN in alignment with Division and Region plans of action.

Support efforts to cultivate, maintain and grow, along with the Regional Director, access to the SECA campaign, CFC campaign, and United Way campaigns.

Work with the Regional Director to develop and support a strategy to grow donor option funds through campaigns where ACS is not a primary choice on the pledge form.

Support, where appropriate, National level accounts where ACS has been established as a primary choice in the campaign.

Identify and support cause marketing opportunities.

Maintain effective reporting systems through the use of Siebel and other National, Division and Region reporting components.

Report and fulfill requests related to leave, activity tracking and other Division and Region functions, relevant to job role.

Fulfill role, as assigned, on national account teams for Employer Initiative function.

Seek out opportunities for professional growth through community organizations with a focus on relationship development toward Regional goals.

Maintain awareness of national, state and local business issues that may provide opportunities in the area of sponsorships, workplace giving and wellness.

Perform all related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, management or equivalent with at least 2 years account management experience and a proven track record of sales in a relationship-selling environment. Proven experience in cultivating relationships with corporate executives. Ability to think strategically and execute plans to completion. Excellent creative problem solving, customer service, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work with volunteers and have proven ability to work as part of a team. Proven Word, Excel, and Powerpoint computer skills. Strong verbal & written communication skills. Travel required.
