Job Summary: Supports multiple lines of business (HMO, PPO, POS, TPA and Senior Plus) for benefit interpretation, claims, authorization and membership inquiries. Receives telephone inquires from Members, Agents, Providers, Legal Counsel and Employer Administrators. Provides excellent service to internal and external customers through demonstrated commitment to AHS/NHP mission and values.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, Associated Degree preferred. 2 years or more experience in the Health Insurance Industry, Customer Service experience. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, ability to perform multiple tasks. Knowledge of insurance principals, Critical thinking & problem solving skills. PC knowledge (Preferred Microsoft Word & Excel), Medical terminology.
