Responsible for monitoring the Medicaid recertification process to ensure prompt and accurate completion of member recertification for submission to Human Resource Administration (HRA) for the Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) and MLTC Plus product lines. Oversees the day-to-day review of the Accounts Receivable as is relates to Medicaid recertification and Medicaid coverage. Performs weekly process of rebilling when applicable and ensures that all payments are received per member per month (PMPM). Assists the Manager in the supervision of staff and in coordinating applicable MLTC business activities in the department. Works under general direction.

Education: Associates Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline (or equivalent work experience) required. Bachelors Degree preferred.Experience: Minimum three years experience in Medicaid recertification, billing and collections, preferably in a healthcare or social services, required. Minimum two years experience in a training and/or staff development lead role required preferred. Knowledge of automated billing and collection systems, accounts receivable, office procedures and systems required. Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills required. Personal Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel required. Knowledge of social service programs, such as Medicare Savings Plans, Medicare, Welfare, Food Stamps, etc. preferred.
