The Contract & Finance Assistant is responsible for identifying, preparing and ensuring compliance with all contracts for goods and services throughout the network. This includes but is not limited to, reviewing bids, negotiating contracts and maintaining quality control processes. The Contract & Finance Assistant will also manage the functions of requesting, procuring and inspecting the quality of goods and services purchased for all facilities. This individual will be responsible for analysis and interpretation on contract terms and conditions, planning and negotiating rate changes, and effective communication of changes to all parties, including members of the Senior Management Team. The Contract & Finance Assistant routinely assist the Controllers, Accounts Payable and Payroll Departments.

Required Skills Ability to use good judgment and common sense while reviewing bids, proposals, and negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scopes of authority. Comply with policies and procedures for processing purchases from the initial request and include additional steps to the final approval of the purchase orders. Maintain manual or computerized procurement records, such as items and services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality of performance. Effectively complete task and special projects simultaneously.

Required Experience Two years prior experience with increasing purchasing function responsibility along with working knowledge of standard accounting software and practices; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
