Position Specifics:
This position is located in Portsmouth, NEW HAMPSHIRE.
This position is CONTINGENT upon task proposal/task award.
This position requires a SECRET clearance.
AMSEC is looking for a confident Business Analyst who can thrive within a small team in a rapidly changing environment. A successful candidate must be knowledgeable in all areas of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and able to switch gears as needed to support varying task assignments.

The selected candidate must have:
• Effective analytical/problem solving and research skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for exchanging information both internally and externally.
• Proven ability to evaluate complex business requirements.
• Experience with performing process analysis of customer activities to determine alternative business solutions or process improvement opportunities.
• Experience with development and maintenance of comprehensive documentation of complex business requirements.

Responsible for information systems design, development, and analysis encompassing one or more of the following areas of technical expertise: programming, PC application analysis, software development, systems integration, and related disciplines.

Basic Qualifications
2 Years relevant experience with Bachelors; 0 Years with Masters; An additional 4 years of specific job experience with a HS diploma may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree requirement for this job. This experience is in addition to the relevant years of experience listed with the job's education requirements. Example: If this job required a Bachelor's degree + 5 years relevant experience the equivalency would equal HS diploma + 9 years job related experience.
